Why is my driver's license still suspended after I set up a payment plan with ODR?
Setting up a payment plan with the Louisiana Office of Debt Recovery (ODR) does not automatically remove a driver's license suspension or vehicle registration block issued by the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV).
If your debt includes OMV-related fines or fees, Louisiana law requires you to establish a separate installment agreement with OMV before your driver's license suspension or registration block can be removed.
Why do I need two payment plans?
Although your debt may appear on your ODR account, ODR and OMV manage different responsibilities.

Look at your ODR notice.
Office of Motor Vehicles will be listed as the originating agency and the Agency ID will contain your LA driver’s license number.
