Federal Accessibility Standards
ODR strives to follow the accessibility requirements outlined in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. § 794d), and applicable web accessibility best practices.
Section 508 requires federal agencies to provide individuals with disabilities access to electronic and information technology comparable to the access available to others, unless doing so would impose an undue burden on the agency.
To support accessibility, ODR continues working to improve website usability, compatibility with assistive technologies, and overall access to online information and services.
